Welcome to the 16th International Packet Video Workshop!

Technically co-sponsored by IEEE Communications Society and IEEE Signal Processing Society,

The 16th Packet Video Workshop will be held in Lausanne, Switzerland, in November 12-13, 2007. It will follow the Picture Coding Symposium (PCS2007) to be held in Lisbon, Portugal, November 7-9, 2007. The Packet Video Workshops are devoted to presenting technological advancements and innovations in video and multimedia transmission over packet networks, in particular wireless and Internet networks. The Packet Video Workshop provides a unique venue for people from the media coding and networking fields to meet, interact and exchange ideas. Its charter is to promote the research and development in emerging video streaming and multimedia networking. The Packet Video Workshops are single track events, and encourage paper submissions from both cutting edge research and business and consumer applications.

We cordially invite you to participate to the PV2007 workshop by submitting your recent results. Please see the Call For Papers for detailed information regarding submission guidelines and important dates. The conference will feature both oral presentation and poster sessions. The conference draws on the expertise of a highly qualified technical program committee to evaluate the submissions and create a strong technical program.
